The summit was a trap. Escape was impossible.

Robert wasn’t supposed to survive. He definitely wasn’t supposed to broadcast the whole thing to a waiting galaxy. But when billions watch the Parliament try to execute GreenNet and fail, something breaks loose that can never be contained again.

Revolution.

Worlds that were waiting for a sign rise up. Factions that were hedging their bets declare for the resistance. The Confederation’s grip fractures as its own enforcers begin to question their orders.

But the Parliament has ruled for three centuries. They didn’t survive this long by being unprepared. Their countermeasure is monstrous: consciousness-transfer soldiers who feel no pain and orbital weapons that can sterilize entire planets.

Robert must transform from revolutionary leader to general of the largest uprising in galactic history. Victory is possible. So is extinction. And the Parliament would rather destroy everything than surrender power.
