Brightrock Belt
Brightrock Belt
Abandoned asteroid refinery in a dense asteroid field. Robert’s hidden base of operations—if you can find it.
Overview
Deep in an asteroid belt far from regular shipping lanes, an abandoned mining refinery has become something new: the hidden heart of Robert Fannec’s resistance operations.
The facility was abandoned decades ago when the ore played out. CaelumCorp, the original owners, apparently wrote it off as a loss. Now it serves a different purpose—a base invisible to Confederation sensors, protected by the navigation hazards of the belt itself.
Key Features
Hangar 7
Primary ship berth where the Acus’Rube docks. Large enough for multiple vessels, though rarely occupied by more than one.
Living Quarters
Converted worker housing. Basic, functional, surprisingly comfortable after modifications. Home for the crew between operations.
Operations Center
The nerve center. Communication arrays, tactical displays, planning tables. Where the resistance coordinates its activities.
Engineering Section
Ma’Tak’s domain. Repair bays, fabrication equipment, and the accumulated spare parts of a dozen salvaged vessels.
Communications Array
Long-range capability despite the remote location. Ace maintains secure channels to resistance contacts across the galaxy.
Significance
The refinery is more than a hiding place—it’s home. The only stable point in Robert’s unstable existence. The place where the crew can rest, plan, and remember why they’re fighting.
Its location is the resistance’s most closely guarded secret. If the Confederation found it, everything would be lost.
