SLPS (Sub-Lunar Protective Service)
SLPS (Sub-Lunar Protective Service)
The Confederation’s law enforcement arm. They enforce the law—whoever writes it.
Overview
The Sub-Lunar Protective Service serves as the primary law enforcement agency of the United Confederation. They handle everything from routine policing to counter-terrorism, from customs enforcement to hunting the galaxy’s most wanted fugitives.
On paper, SLPS serves the people. In practice, they serve the system—and the system serves the Parliament.

Operations
Routine Enforcement
Most SLPS activity is mundane—traffic violations, petty crime, bureaucratic enforcement. The face of Confederation authority in daily life.
Serious Crime
Murder, trafficking, major theft. SLPS investigates, SLPS prosecutes, SLPS ensures the system functions.
Counter-Insurgency
Hunting threats to Confederation stability. GreenNet. Thepolian resistance. Anyone who challenges Parliament authority.
The Uncomfortable Truth
Many SLPS officers are decent people doing difficult jobs. But the institution serves the Parliament. When orders come down, officers follow them—or find themselves on the wrong side of the law they once enforced.
