Background

Wido served as an elite operative for the Parliament—one of the SSS, the Thepolian assassin guild that trained the deadliest killers in the galaxy. He was sent to eliminate the hacker known as GreenNet.

What he discovered when he found Robert Fannec changed everything. The truth about who he was really working for made continuing impossible. Wido broke his contract—something virtually unheard of in SSS history—and joined the resistance.

Appearance

Thepolians evolved on a harsh volcanic world, and Wido embodies that heritage:

He operates by a code—not the Parliament’s code, not anymore, but his own. That code now includes loyalty to Robert and the crew, though he expresses it through action rather than words.

The SSS

The Syndicate of Silent Service—Wido’s former guild—trains Thepolian assassins from youth. They operate on strict contractual principles: once a contract is accepted, it must be fulfilled. Breaking a contract means death.

Wido broke his contract and survived. What that means for his future relationship with the SSS remains to be seen.
