Zorath
Zorath
Diverse trading hub. Multi-species population. If you need something—legal or otherwise—Zorath probably has it.
Overview
Zorath is one of the galaxy’s great trading hubs—a place where species mix freely, currencies convert easily, and questions are rarely asked. The planet’s economy runs on commerce, and commerce requires a certain… flexibility.
Confederation law applies on paper. In practice, Zorath operates by its own rules, enforced by merchant guilds and private security rather than SLPS officers.
Key Features
The Markets
Endless bazaars selling everything from exotic foods to restricted technology. Prices are negotiable. Provenance is optional.
Entertainment Districts
Pleasure houses, gambling dens, fighting pits, and establishments catering to every species’ vices. What happens on Zorath stays on Zorath.
The Undercity
Below the gleaming surface, darker business is conducted. Smugglers, fences, and information brokers operate with minimal interference.
Neutral Ground
Zorath’s value lies in its neutrality. Enemies can meet here, deals can be struck, and violence is bad for business. The merchant guilds enforce this peace ruthlessly.
Significance
For Robert and the resistance, Zorath represents both opportunity and danger. It’s a place to acquire resources, make contacts, and disappear—but also a place where Parliament agents can operate freely and betrayal is always possible.
The planet’s studied indifference to politics makes it valuable. Zorath doesn’t care who you are, only what you can pay.
